Product, Bundle, Kit, Dynamic kit, Aggregated, Assembly
You Can:
- Create a Product for Your Storefront
- Create a Bundle
- Combine two or more existing standard product SKUs into a single purchasable item. A bundle's price is independent of its component products’ price list items.
- From Product Type, select Bundle
- Create a price list item for the bundle product. Specify a unique price for the bundle product
- On the bundle product record, scroll to the Composite Products related list and add products to form a bundle.
- Create a Kit
- Combine two or more existing standard product SKUs into a single purchasable item. A kit's price is always the sum of the component products' price list items. By default, a kit can't include an exclusive item that isn’t available outside of the kit.
- From Product Type, select Kit
- Create a price list item for the kit product. Because B2B Commerce automatically calculates the kit price based on the component product price list items, enter 0 for the kit's price
- On the kit product record, scroll to the Composite Products related list and add products to form a kit.
- Create a Dynamic Kit
- Let buyers build a custom kit by selecting products from groups of options you provide
- From Product Type, select Dynamic Kit
- Create a price list item for the dynamic kit. Because B2B Commerce automatically calculates the dynamic kit price based on the component product price list items, enter 0 for the dynamic kit's price
- Create two or more groups from CC Related Product Groups tab in your org.
- Scroll to the CC Product Guides related list of dynamic kit product, and click New
- In Related Product Group, search for the name of a product group you created
- From Display Type, choose whether a buyer can select one or many products in the group and whether a buyer can modify quantities.
- Single-Select
- A buyer can select only one product from a group, and can't modify the quantity of the selected product before checkout.
- Single-Select Quantity
- A buyer can select only one product from a group, but can modify the quantity of the selected product before checkout.
- Multi-Select
- A buyer can select multiple products from a group, and can't modify quantities of selected products before checkout.
- Multi-Select Quantity
- A buyer can select multiple products from a group, but can modify quantities of selected products before checkout.
- To make sure that a buyer selects a product from the group, select Required
- On the dynamic kit product record, scroll to the Composite Products related list, and click New.
- In Component, search for a component product to add.
- In Product Group, search for the product group that you want the component product to belong to.
- In Quantity, enter the component product quantity to include in the dynamic kit.
- Create an aggregated product
- Make it easy for buyers to select a particular color, finish, size, or other characteristic of a product that comes in multiple styles
- From Product Type, select Aggregated
- Create a price list item for the aggregated product. Because the buyer's price is based on the component product they select, the aggregated product itself doesn't have a price. Enter 0 for the aggregated product's price
- On the aggregated product record, scroll to the Composite Products related list, and click New and In Component, search for a component product to add
- Create an assembly product
- If you sell individual products that comprise a larger product, you can also sell the entire assembled product
- On an assembly product's Product Detail page, a buyer can hover over an interactive diagram that shows how the individual products fit into the assembly
- From Product Type, select Assembly
- Create a price list item for the assembly product. Specify a unique price for the assembly product
- On the assembly record, scroll to the Composite Products related list, and click New.
- In Component, search for a component product to add
- To specify a tooltip string that displays when a buyer hovers over an image, enter a value in the product media record's Product Description field.
You can reference the source file for a product image in several ways:
- Reference a file from a Content Delivery Network (CDN).
- Reference a file from an uploaded static resource.
- Attach a file directly to the CC Product Media record.
- To add documentation to the product, Go to the Product Media related list on product and create a new record with media type "document type"

- Create a CC Shipping Rate record
- If you want the shipping rate to be the default selection in the Shipping Method picklist during checkout, enable Default.
- To localize Products for an Internationalized Storefront, Go to the Product Locales related list, and add Locale, select a language and region combination that your storefront supports. For Name, ShortDescRT and LongDescRT enter products localized description.

- Add following fields on CC Spec Layout

- For Filter Type, specify how you want buyers to apply spec values for filtering results

- On the CC Price Lists tab in your org create a pricelist record.Go to the Price List Items related list and add existing products.
- Specify your storefront's base price list (CC Admin tab, Storefront settings, General)
- You can easily adjust the prices specified for all price list items in a particular price list. For example, you can change all price list items by an absolute amount, or apply a percent increase or decrease to all prices. (CC Price Lists tab ==> Mass Update section)
Link a Promotion to a Product: On the CC Promotions tab in your org, create a promotion record.
- Can link promotion to category as well.On the CC promotions tab in your or, create a promotion record and In the Link section, select Category from the Link Type picklist.
- Link a promotion to a custom URL: if you want to drive traffic to an event registration page hosted on another site, you can create a promotion that opens that link. In the Link section or CC promotion record, select URL from the Link Type picklist.
- Promotion images can be assigned from CDN, static resource or directly attached to promotion record.
- Promotion can be targeted to specific users by using account group.On a promotion record, scroll to the CC Promotion Account Group Filters related list and click New
- Inclusive
- The promotion includes this account group, making the promotion visible to them on the storefront.
- Exclusive
- The promotion excludes this account group, hiding the promotion from them on the storefront.
When a guest buyer completes checkout, B2B Commerce for Visualforce creates the following contact address records:
- A shipping address related to the cart
- A billing address related to the cart
- A shipping address related to the order
- A billing address related to the order
When a registered buyer completes checkout, B2B Commerce for Visualforce creates the following contact address records:
- A shipping address related to the cart
- A billing address related to the cart
- A shipping address related to the order
- A billing address related to the order
- A shipping address related to the invoice
- A billing address related to the invoice
- When an account group has more than one price list assigned,use the Price List Selection Method field on the account group record to specify the criteria for prioritizing an account group's price lists
- Allows a Customer Service Representative to Log In to a Storefront on Behalf of a Buyer
B2B Commerce supports the following strategies for effective accounts, depending on what kind of access you want to allow and how you manage buyer accounts:
- Parent-child account hierarchy
- Grant access for a contact to shop on behalf of all accounts that are child accounts of the contact's account.
- Account group
- Grant access for a contact to shop on behalf of all accounts that belong to the same account group as the contact.
- Entitled
- Grant access for a contact to shop on behalf of all accounts that are shared with the contact's account, regardless of account group or hierarchy.
