Following is step by step guide to setup B2B Commerce Cloud.
- Enable Communities
- Create a domain
- Clone Customer Community User or Customer Community Plus User profile
- Assign a role to the admin user who installs the managed package
- Find the correct installation URL for the version of the B2B Commerce managed package that you want to install and your org type (sandbox or production) : URLs for B2B Commerce for Visualforce Releases and Patches
- Select "Install for Specific Profiles". Before clicking "Install" button, please do the next steps first.
- Select "B2B Commerce Community User" from dropdown for custom profile you created on top.
- After installation completes, you can see following package installed in "Installed Packages"
- The CC Admin tab in your org is where B2B Commerce admins can manage settings and metadata for all of your storefronts.To make sure that your admin users can access everything they need on the CC Admin tab, apply the necessary permissions as shown below:
- Clone B2B Commerce Admin permission set and enable "Customize Application"
Raise a support case with Salesforce to Increase data storage & have the B2B Commerce Permission Set License deposited in the Dev org - Find the user who requires access to CC Admin, For the B2B Commerce permission set license, select Enabled
- Add following two permission sets to the CC Admin user
- Before you can create or manage any storefronts, load global data in CC Admin. Global data includes custom settings, custom object records, and configuration metadata that specifies baseline behavior for each storefront.
- From the App Launcher, find and select B2B Commerce and click on CC Admin tab.
- Select Data Loader from the Global Settings menu
- In the Load B2B Commerce Global Settings section, click Initialize
